Touchgrass is free and provided as-is. Use it, enjoy it, uninstall it when you've built the habit. By downloading or using it, you agree to the terms below.

The license

Touchgrass is released under the MIT License. You're free to use it for personal or commercial purposes. The full license text ships with the app and in the source repository.

No warranty

The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You use it at your own risk.

It's a nudge, not medical advice. Touchgrass reminds you to stand up and take breaks. It is not a health, medical, or fitness product, and nothing it shows is professional advice. Listen to your body and a real doctor, not a timer.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the authors are not liable for any damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the software — including lost work, lost time, or any indirect or consequential loss.

Your responsibility

You're responsible for how you use the app and for keeping your own device secure. Since all your data stays on your machine, backing it up (or not) is up to you.

Pricing

Touchgrass is free. If that ever changes for new features, the free version you downloaded stays free — we won't reach into your machine and take it away.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the "last updated" date reflects the latest version. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
